Tuesday- Mr. C will check spelling vocabulary words during class today. Mr. C will read aloud the short story The Friendship, by Mildred Taylor. This short story will serve as an introduction to Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry and outline some of the racial intolerance of the deep south in the 1930s.He will also continue reading aloud the short story The Friendship.

Monday- We will begin our review for the final test on Sign of the Beaver today. Students will be given a list of all 50 spell/vocab words from the novel. They will fill in all the definitions they can from memory and then use their notes to fill in the rest.
Homework: Fill in the rest of spell/vocab review sheet.
Tuesday- Today we will review all 50 spell/vocab words quickly and then begin our chapter by chapter review of Sign of the Beaver using notes on the overhead projector.
Homework: Review for final test.
Wednesday- We will continue (and hopefully finish) our review of Sign of the Beaver today. Students will begin studying for the final test.
